The P.S. 185 PTA , Wellness Committee, and Student Government invite you to participate in the Season of Giving


Key Dates

  • November 2 - 25: Food Drive for the Salvation Army

  • December 1 - 12:‍ ‍Toiletry Drive for the 4th Avenue Community Food Drive.


Our Food Drive!

Let’s feed the hungry in our community by partnering with our neighbors at the Salvation Army! Please consider bringing non-perishable food items for donation (canned goods and pasta preferred) now through November 24th. Boxes to place your donation are in the school lobby.

3rd Annual Toiletry Drive

Partnering with the Community Food Pantry to help those in need in our neighborhood!
Each grade is designated to collect the following items):

  • KINDERGARTEN: HATS/MITTENS

  • 1ST: BRUSHES/COMBS

  • 2ND: TOOTHBRUSHES/MOUTHWASH/FLOSS

  • 3RD: SOAP/BODY-WASH/DEODORANT

  • 4TH: SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER

  • 5TH: FOOD POP-TOPS (cans that open without can opener) & CHICKPEAS, SAUCE, OATMEAL

DONATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FROM DECEMBER 1st- DECEMBER 12th.
