PTA School Meetings

All PS 185 families, including children, are welcome at our meetings.

Our monthly PTA meetings are now scheduled at alternating times, with some in the morning (8:30 am) and others in the evening (typically at 6 pm). Generally, meetings are offered in a hybrid format (in person in the school + via Zoom), although they will be virtual only in the winter months. At each meeting, the PTA officers give a report, including a financial update, and the school’s principal, Mrs. Goudelias, provides her report. We also invite school staff and outside experts to present topics of interest to the school community, such as internet safety, fire safety, and curriculum programs.

The meeting agenda will be posted on this website 10 days before the meeting. Meeting minutes will be available on the website within a few days after the meeting. Members will have the opportunity to request changes to the minutes and approve them at the next meeting.

Childcare will be available for some meetings. The school will send out the childcare request form via Remind. RSVP required. Childcare is only for PS 185 students.
