At PTA PS 185, our priority is to make sure that our students have the tools they need to learn and grow. We can't do that without your support. This year we are hoping for 100% participation from our families.

It only takes a minute or two, and your support will greatly assist us in meeting our goals. The main goal is to get children to read as much as they can during this period, while parents help them log the minutes read on the child's individual Read-A-Thon page.  Additionally, we are hoping that families and friends will donate to support our readers and raise funds for student activities for next school year. 

You should have received a flyer with instructions for parents to set up the child's page for logging in minutes and supporting our fundraiser.  If any family would prefer a paper log we can provide that as well.

Please note individual reading during the school day as well as at home can be used towards the Read-A-Thon minutes.
